Socialist Press Organisation’s national conference to begin on Feb 19

The Socialist Press Organisation Nepal is preparing to hold its national conference from February 19 in the Capital City.

Preliminary draft of the statute for the national conference has been completed and preparatory meetings are taking place, the Organisation said.

The conference organising committee is preparing the name list of the participants of the conference. Feedback and consultation meetings have also been held to systematically organise the event, Chairperson of Organisation Sambhu Shrestha said.

Drafting of the statute has been completed by the General Secretary Bhuparaj Khadka-led team. The statute has been sent to the experts and stakeholders for broader consultation.

The statute would be tabled in the national conference after incorporating the feedback to be received from discussions and study by the lower committees of the Organisation and other sides for its approval from the national conference.
