Natural hot water spring, educational institutes in Myagdi to open from Sunday

The local authority in Myagdi district is going to reopen all the sectors that were closed temporarily in risk of the new variant of COVID-19.

From educational institutions, market places, public offices to natural hot water spring, these places will be reopened from Sunday, according to the District COVID-19 Management Committee (DCMC), Myagdi. The meeting of the DCMC convened yesterday took the decision to reopen the closed sectors, making sure that all necessary preparations against the contagion are observed.

DCMC coordinator and Chief District Officer Chiranjivi Rana shared, “The risk of COVID-19 still looms. Although we are resuming all the closed services, we will ensure that everyone complies with the health safety protocols against COVID-19.”

The DCMC has also appealed to those not getting jabbed yet and those left out for booster dose to get vaccinated. Although all sectors will be opened, physical games to be played in a group will be played in only 25 per cent physical participation.

People must show vaccination card while accessing places such as hotels, restaurants and public places.
The natural hot water spring at Beni Municipality-4 is open for public under certain conditions. The service-seekers should be vaccinated and not showing any symptoms of cold and fever, according to the hot spring management committee.

The hot water spring has been drawing over 30,000 people annually not only from the district and neighbouring ones but also from Sikkim State of India.
