Alliance will continue till next elections: leader Nepal
Chairperson of the CPN (Unified Socialist) and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that the current ruling coalition will remain in place until the upcoming election to the federal parliament.
Speaking at a seminar organized to mark the 44th Pushpalal Memorial Day here today, he said that the five-party alliance had to be formed to prevent regression, protect the constitution and federalism. The seminar was organized by the Pushpalal Memorial Foundation.
Nepal also emphasized that the division of seats among the parties in the election should be respectful. He said that the followers of Pushpalal should be able to move forward by getting inspiration from him to raise the flag of nationalism, democracy, social justice, equality and people’s livelihood while strengthening the communist movement.
On the occasion CPN (Unified Socialist) Central Vice President Keshav Lal Shrestha, CPN (Maoist Center) Politburo member Hari Bahadur Chuman, Advocate Tilak Parajuli and others emphasized that the change agents should follow the ideals set by Pushpalal.
